frankly, I have been running slower than ever, and I’m not even injured so theres no reason for my poor results.
My PR’s are:
100m: 12.75
200m: 26.63
But lately ive been running in around 13.20 and 27.20, which is not acceptable. At all. Its far too slow for me.
Since im running slow lately, Ive set out a plan for myself for each competition.
Twilight next week:
100m: 12.90
200m: 26.90
C-C competition next weekend:
100m: 12.80
200m: 26.60
Provincials July 30th weekend:
100m: 12.60
200m: 26.30
Provincial team selection (august 4-5-6):
100m: 12.45
200m: 26.10
Nationals:
100m: 12.30
200m: 25.90
My coach told me at the beginning of the season that this season he thinks i should get around 26.00 and in the 25’s for the 200m, so I need to at least achieve that.
These time goals for each competition will change depending on how I do. For example if next week i get like 12.80, I’ll change my time goals for the other competitions. This plan just helps me see that it is possible to make comeback this summer. I know I can do it, I just need to put my desire into will to work harder.
I just now on need to give 200% at every single training, and never be lazy. Eat well too. No more chips, ice cream, chocolate, etc until after Nationals where I will podium. Oh and I’ll be going to bed at 10:30 from now on everynight, except for weekends at my cottage. Ok so now night night, wish me luck on my Summer comeback ok bye peace and blessings
